How about when you say one sentence and and that brings down the markets. Carl Icahn said something to the effect of > "The markets are due for a big drop" and guess what? They dropped, it wasn't a big drop but they dropped all the same.
Was what Mr. Icahn said earth shattering or even a new thought? Not really.
Their are all kinds of people out there calling for a market top and a steep correction. I have heard things like we are in the fifth wave and we will have a minimum 20 percent correction within the next one or two months. (That was over a year ago)
There are much more dire prognostications out there.
There was a time not that long ago that everyone needed to buy gold and silver because they were going to double, triple even quadruple in price and the stock market was going to go to lows that haven't been seen in over 50 years. I have seen predictions of Marshall law, $250 a barrel oil, our dollar becoming worthless losing its place as the worlds reserve currency, inflation, deflation the list goes on and on. There are all kinds of possible doomsday scenarios out there. Who really knows what is going to happen? Maybe some of these predictions will wind up being true. All I can say is play the market in front of you, enjoy life and try not to worry too much about things you have no control over. Words are powerful be very careful as to who's words you follow and how you let them impact you.
Yesterday was an uneventful trading day for me I scaled out of some longs booking profit and I took two day trades one that I got out flat and one in $NWBO where I scaled out on strength and and kept a few for lotto.
Morning movers and other stocks that caught my eye
$IPCI pr thin float big gapper, $HZNP pr big gapper nice daily, $SPEX pr VERY THIN nice daily CAREFUL, $BLRX pr 3 dolla holla on deck , $JRJC continuation?, $NKTR pr nice flag on the daily, $OMER pr lots of resistance overhead on the daily,
“Carry overs” are stocks that I have featured in prior videos, have on my alert list or tagged on my morning mover lists that still have a potential setup working or developing on the chart that may be actionable. They are still on my radar and I am either already in with a swing or I am looking to enter on a breakout. I am also looking for the setup to breakdown at which point it will discard it from my hot watch list. If I am already in it with a swing I am looking for a place to scale out or exit the trade and on rare occasions I may be adding to my position. Typically I like to sell into strength
