Tricky trading for me

Yesterday was a tough day for me I took a few trades and each one had a tough time following through with the break out. The market looks very tired after the big run up we have had and yet it continues to climb. The pops aren't as big and a lot of the action was very choppy for me and the stocks I tried to play. In the end the day was nearly flat for me. Some days you got it and some days you don't.

Going through my scans there were plenty of good plays to be had I just wasn't in them.

$WTI $WHX both had very nice pops yesterday. $WTI was especially tough to miss since it was one of the stocks from my watch list this weekend.

Several stocks started running into the close. However, some had earnings after hours and its tough for me to jump in right before the close knowing that. I prefer to wait earnings out and see if it was just someone trying to set the bait or if the earnings will justify a new leg up for the stock.

I have quite a few stocks that I like and I will continue to be disciplined with my stops while limiting my swings.

Stocks on the move and others that caught my eye
