But NNNNOOOooooooo!! I just had to hang out and try to make some more killer trades. I could set some sort of personal record or prove that I am invincible and that I can't be beat. I had Queen cranked up and playing in the background, singing along "WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, WE ARE THE CHAMPION'S...OF THE WORLD!"
Duh !........ REALLY? Seriously? I swear sometimes I want to kick my own a**!
Just sayin.
The remainder of the day I made trades that made my broker very happy and didn't really do much for my account. I did scale out more of my $KTOS swing which was probably the only thing I did that was constructive. I took positions in $AFFY which I sold basically flat, I took a position in $OCZ which I am fault in and still holding, I took a position in $UVXY in the last hour of trading that I could have made 20 cents on but instead sold it for a 2 cent loss.
So what is the moral of the story?? Not unlike the casino, when you are up and playing with the houses money don't try to force trades or make bets you shouldn't make and when the hot streak starts to fizzle then pick up your chips and walk away.
Like I said at the beginning of this rant, overall it was a fantastic day but it could have been better with some discipline. Sometimes the best trades are the ones you never make!!
