Good morning folks,
Yesterday proved that > YES< the markets can actually go down!!!
Is it the end of the run???
Well its much too early to say but 2 big big tech companies did not help the case for the bull to continue running with misses from Googl & MSFT. Throw in some disappointing earnings from V and SBUX and an announcement from Sears that they are closing a combined 78 stores between Sears and Kmart.
On a positive note the IBB closed above the 285 mark and the 100 day moving average which could give us that move to the 300 mark. The XLV also closed near the high of the day and those were two sectors that we felt money could flow two as it rotates out of some of the recent high flying sectors. Look for potential continuation in the space.
Industrial's could continue to give the markets a lift as GE and Honeywell have reported earnings this morning that look better than expected. CAT missed on earnings but the stock is holding up fairly well in premarket.
Keep an eye on volatility if the markets weaken TVIX and UVXY.
I will be doing this weeks market wrap video after the close and will post it as soon as its completed. If you watched last weeks market wrap you know we came into this week focused on the Agricultural names and that worked out really well. Lets see if we can identify how we want to be positioned for next week.
