IN THE NEWS TODAY
U.S. stock futures were higher this morning, as investors watched for updates on the Greek debt situation and the latest on the U.S. economy. Stocks erased earlier losses Wednesday after the Fed meeting. (CNBC)
European stocks were lower today, ahead of a key meeting of euro zone finance ministers who may present Greece a take-it-or-leave-it plan on reforms in exchange for bailout aid. (CNBC)

The Fed policy statement and subsequent Janet Yellen news conference provided indications that interest rates are on track to move higher this year in possibility two moves. (CNBC)

Airbnb, the online marketplace for people to rent their homes, is in talks to raise $1 billion in venture capital for a valuation of $24 billion, which would be more than double a year ago. (NY Times)

FitBit (FIT), the maker of fitness-tracking gadgets, priced its initial public offering above expectations at $20 a share last night, giving it a valuation of $4.1 billionheading into its New York Stock Exchange debut today. (CNBC)

Apple (AAPL) is generating sizable profits from sales ofApple Watch bands, with many buyers of the devicealso buying more than one band, according to data provided by research firm Slice Intelligence. (Reuters)

Oracle (ORCL) shares were sharply lower in premarket trading, after the tech giant missed expectations on earnings and revenue. The software maker blamed the stronger dollar. (CNBC)

Ellen Pao will have to pay $275,966 in costs for her failed discrimination and retaliation case against her former employer, venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins, or about a quarter of what the company had asked for. (USA Today)

After years of setting the standard for quality and reliability, Japanese brand autos have dropped below the industry average, according to a new report by J.D. Power and Associates. (CNBC)

President Barack Obama's trade agenda appears to be back on track after an extraordinary bipartisan rescue operation set-up another House vote today after last week's stinging defeat. (AP)

BY THE NUMBERS
Today marks the busiest day of the week for economic data, beginning with an 8:30 a.m. ET tripleheader, with government reports on weekly initial jobless claims, the consumer price index for May, and the U.S. current account deficit.
At 10 a.m. ET, it's the Philadelphia Fed index and the Conference Board's index of leading economic indicators. Then at 10:30 a.m. ET, the Energy Department releases its usual Thursday look at natural gas inventories.

Supermarket chain Kroger (KR) and drug store operatorRite Aid (RAD) are out with quarterly numbers this morning, while Linux software provider Red Hat (RHT) and gun-maker Smith & Wesson (SWHC) are on today's after-the-bell earnings list.

Ketchup maker H.J. Heinz said Warren Buffet'sBerkshire Hathaway (BRK.A) bought an additional 5.4 percent stake in the company by exercising a warrant to purchase about 46.2 million shares.

STOCKS TO WATCH
Verizon (VZ) will be the subject of a New York City audit report to be released today, according to Dow Jones, which will accuse the carrier of failing to meet obligations under a 2008 franchise agreement involving the company's FiOS TV service.
Spectrum Brands (SPB) is the target of a government lawsuit, accused of failing to report a safety hazard in a timely manner. The case involves the plastic handles on coffee carafes included with certain Black & Decker SpaceMaker coffee pots, which can detach suddenly and pose a burn hazard.
