Good morning folks, 
I am seeing some red arrows this morning as the markets absorb some statements out of Greece and some disappointing economic numbers out of China. Gold is, at least for now, catching a bounce premarket and oil is also rising.

The U.S. economy has "turned the corner," but wage growth remains a problem, said Treasury Secretary Jack Lew in an exclusive interview on CNBC. But he expressed concerns over Greece and Russia. U.S. stock futures were lower in early trading on worries about the Greek debt standoff and weak Chinese trade data. Wall Street closed lower Friday, but the Dow and S&P 500 both surged for the week. (CNBC) Resolving the crisis in Greece may prove difficult after leftist Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras laid out plans Sunday to dismantle his country's "cruel" austerity program. Greek stocks were off 6 percent today. (CNBC) President Barack Obama is set to meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel today to address a potential split over arming Ukrainian fighters to wage a more effective battle against Russian-backed separatists. (AP) OPEC sharply raised a forecast of demand for its own oil in 2015, saying the fall in prices would slow production in the U.S. and other countries faster than previously thought. (Reuters) Cheap gasoline prices have increased 13 cents in the past two weeks to $2.20 a gallon, according to industry analyst Trilby Lundberg who warned the up trend is likely to continue. (AP) Warren Buffett is under fire from investment analysts who cover his $370 billion company, Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.B), over the quality of its financial disclosures. Buffett rejected the criticism. (FT) Intuit (INTU) said users of its TurboTax software can now file state tax returns once again. The company had suspended state tax filings while investigating an increase in the number of attempts to file fraudulent returns. (Reuters) Samsung's Smart TV may be a little too smart for its own good. Tucked into the privacy policy of the South Korean electronics behemoth's Smart TV are a few paragraphs that may send chills down the spine of some consumers. (CNBC) Viacom's (VIAB) "The SpongeBob Movie" knocked reigning champ"American Sniper" out of the No. 1 spot at the weekend, earning a better-than-expected $56 million in North American ticket sales in its debut. (Reuters) Heartbreak paid off handsomely for British soul singer Sam Smith, anewcomer who won four Grammy awards on Sunday including record and song of the year for his anthem "Stay With Me." (Reuters) A relentless, multi-day snowstorm was blowing through the Northeast early today. The third winter blast in as many weeks triggered a messy commute for millions as well as more than 1,600 canceled flights. (NBC News)

	BY THE NUMBERS

McDonald's reports January sales this morning, with global comps expected to decline by 1.1 percent. U.S. same-store sales were seen rising by 0.3 of a percent. Toymaker Hasbro (HAS) reports quarterly earnings this morning, along withDiamond Offshore (DO), Loews (L), and Teco Energy (TE). Today's after-the-bell list includes Computer Sciences (CSC), and Dun & Bradstreet (DNB). There are no economic reports due today, although the week ahead will see the latest data on retail sales, jobless claims, and consumer sentiment. Bitcoin transactions could more than halve this year, Juniper Research predicted, as a lack of regulation and links with illegal activity hinder the digital currency's ability to go mainstream.

	STOCKS TO WATCH

Symantec (SYMC) has been ordered to pay $17 million in damages after a judge ruled the security software maker had infringed two patents held by Intellectual Ventures, although that was well under the $298 million that Intellectual Ventures had sought to collect. IntercontinentalExchange (ICE), owner of the New York Stock Exchange, hasreportedly given notice that the NYSE will vacate 20 Broad Street when its lease expires in August of 2016. That's according to the New York Post. Motorola Solutions (MSI) is investigating a possible sale, according to a Bloomberg report. Raytheon (RTN), Honeywell (HON), and General Dynamics(GD) are said to be among the companies who could be potential buyers of the radio systems manufacturer. British bank HSBC Holdings (HSBC) admitted on Sunday failings by its Swiss subsidiary, in response to media reports it helped wealthy customers dodge taxes and conceal millions of dollars of assets.
