Determination

Good morning Folks
Warning signs continue to develop as the markets had a bit of a pull back yesterday.

Remember that the Santa Clause rally typically happens the last trading week of December and the first two days of the New Year. Volatility really spiked yesterday and many of the momo names continue to be under pressure, but they remain in long term up trends. The sharp and rapid decline in oil has been unsettling to many and now there is concern that lower oil prices for an extended period of time could impact the banks that have provided all the financing for exploration and asset purchases.

Lower gas prices are undeniably good for our economy and the  money saved at the pump will show up elsewhere, with people either paying down debt, going out to dinner, taking a trip, or buying more junk that they don't need. Airlines, trucking companies and manufacturers will also benefit with lower input costs.

However the market has had a very powerful bounce since mid October and it is due for a bit of a pullback. We had some gaps on the daily of a few indexes that could be filled. If we get a strong pull back it could be an ideal time to load up on some wish list stocks that you would like to own for the long haul. Like BABA AAPL YHOO F

It looks like we may be getting a bounce in oil and the indexes. Lets see if it can hold throughout the day. I am not inclined to get involved in the markets unless their is something so sweet I just can't pass it by. My entry would have to be nearly perfect. If I am too late then I will be sitting  on my hands.
