Did I say Bear party ?

I meant Bull and Bear Party!!!

Good morning folks,
No one said it would be easy and making a call in market direction can be quite challenging. For a few minutes yesterday it looked like I was right on target as we had a wild ride with the market gapping up then reversing to close the gap and test some key support areas and in some instances busting through those key areas of support then snapping back to close above them. It was a wild party and it provided a little something for everyone. The volatility indexes like TVIX and the
Vix--X still remain relatively low which indicates that there still isn't a lot of fear out there. If and when you see those two pick up that will be your clue that things may be taking a turn for the worse. You have to respect the way the bulls came out in defense of the markets.
The momentum names were still being taken out to the woodshed and it would be an area I would be avoiding unless you want to go short or take a really quick snap back scalp trade. The  SOCL index also got whacked pretty good yesterday and it looks as though that could continue. TWTR reports tonight after the close and it could help determine if the blood shed will continue.
Yesterday was a tremendous day with solid trades in TZA and TVIX a few winning scalps in GALE, JCP,  and one flat trade in LIVE. I am still more bearish than bullish but I will be playing what is in front of me and I will not be doing much in the swing or long term hold portfolio.

The FED starts their meeting today and that could keep the markets trading in a wait and see mode so it could be a bit choppy out there. Try not to over trade and if you can't find your setup don't force a trade.

Morning movers and other stocks that caught my eye

RDNT still like the way the daily is set up, FOLD pr already up premarket could continue, AGEN continuation?, CYTR pr decent daily, KOOL active premarket looks for more volume, NVAX pr last night hot daily bounce off 200 day, CTIC pr they have earnings after the close so be careful, XCO hot daily reports earnings after the close, MGM nice earnings beat >stock has been pounded lately
