As you can see we are getting a little stretched I don't see a huge correction coming but I would like to see a pause to refresh. Earning season should really be kicking into gear next week and it will no doubt determine the mood of the markets moving forward and regardless of the markets, there will be opportunities in individual names that have better than expected or disappointing earnings results. I am lightening up on some of my swings as they have hit my targets and building that cash position again into the strength of this rally. It never hurts to take some profit.
$UPS just lowered guidance, usually not a good sign. Take a look at that daily chart it is also due for a pullback. $UPS is considered one of the companies that has their finger on the pulse of our economy and growth. Here is the quote taken from Reuters " United Parcel Service Inc (UPS), the world's No.1 package delivery company, estimated second-quarter profit below analysts' expectations, hurt by overcapacity in the global air freight market and a slowing U.S. industrial economy" Just another clue that we could have a pullback in the works.
