Earnings Season Begins

I love earnings season!!!!
We are guaranteed to have some good plays made available to us off of earnings announcements. Some things to consider when you hear or see either a really bad or really good earnings report.

 If you miss the initial pop in the stock or it gaps. Wait for it to pull back or bounce before you enter if its possible. If the stock continues to tank or run and you can't get a good entry start looking for sympathy plays in the same industry and look for the best set ups there. The only caveat to that is, you need to make sure the company that reported isn't reacting to something that is company specific and not something that would impact the industry. For example > An accounting probe into fraud would be company specific so it would most likely only impact the company reporting and could even be a benefit to their competition.
