Recap for today
Even though the overall market continued to be weak I had an excellent day trading. I only took a few trades however they were the right trades to take.
I got into $CBMX early @ 3.56 and scaled out the whole way up selling the last 100 shares for $5.56 there was more money to be made there as the stock continued to climb to $7.64 for the High of the day. I missed out on some additional profits from this one but I am plenty happy with the results of the trade. I can't ever complain about a winning trade but there was definitely some room for improvement. I should have held @ least a small portion of the shares for the lotto play.
I also took a position in $MERU and wound up selling for a very small gain. $TZA continued to climb higher and I am still holding a long position.
Tomorrow could be an interesting day and a clue as to where we are headed from here. If the market is strong I will get out of my $TZA position since my entry was in the $10.05 range. I had $PRKR on my list however I failed to get into the trade and I also missed $OWW. I did take a position in $YONG which I am holding overnight.
Gold and silver miners were pretty strong today on bounce back plays and I will be watching the sector tomorrow.
$EXK, $PZG,$TRX, $VGZ,$TGD,$GSS to name a few
There were some surprise beats in earnings after hours with the likes of $HPQ & $AIG we will see if that is enough to lift the markets or if a correction is in the making.
Some after hours movers that have caught my attention and the beginning of my list for tomorrow.
$UNIS, $COOL, $DVR, $TORM, $WBMD,$JOEZ,$ARUN $FIRE,$PIP I will also be watching $CBMX for possible continuation and $CHTP for a possible bounce play.
