I just couldn't get this commercial out of my head as we head into the Fed meeting tomorrow. I think the microwave countdown may be more important than what the Fed does tomorrow but I guess acting like its a HUGE event creates some drama for the financial networks to play off of. If you watch the video do not blame me for that song sticking in your head ALL DAY!
We had a nice little bounce yesterday with some beaten up names making some great moves. The economic numbers were not that strong yesterday which led to speculation the Fed won't make a move. Then there was speculation that if the Fed does make a move the market will embrace it.
I am in the latter camp but the markets are still trading in a range. Tomorrow could be the catalyst that determines how the markets resolve at least for the short term.
On a side note, I did like the action in the IBB IWM and the SMH yesterday. Let's see if that can continue.
