Reaction after yesterdays big announcement! 

Good morning Folks, 
Yesterday was a bit of a dud and I have to admit I was disappointed we didn't get a rate hike. 
We had a nice run up into the non event and now we will get a better look at how the market reacts. 

Today is options expiration so we could see volatility pick up. A couple of observations from the last few days. ORCL missed and guidance was weak, ADBE beat but lowered guidance, HPQ is laying off 25 to 30k, QCOM is laying off 1300, AAPL was fairly weak yesterday. Just because the Fed did not raise the rate lets not assume that means markets should be full steam ahead.If anything, I think it raises more doubt about the health of our economy. 

Technically we are still in guilty till proven innocent mode so be careful out there. Personally I sold off several short term swing positions that were in the black and raised some cash yesterday right after the Fed announcement. 

Keep an eye GOLD and the Gold mining stocks
