Hey!! Don't Forget About Me!

Good Morning folks, 
Not talking about myself in the headline there. I am talking about the bear! I put out a short video yesterday and I was unable to fit everything in that I wanted too but I had to keep it under 5 minutes. There were several more examples of sectors and indexes approaching some significant price support or resistance on longer time frames. 

I know we are looking at a potential gap open off of some positive news for oil and the energy sector but lets see if that continues after we get inventory numbers later today. Yesterdays Fed minutes had more of a dovish tone which is likely being perceived as a positive and could also help with the rally. 

The real question though is if the markets see enough positives to provide it with enough force to take out the significant price levels we are approaching technically in so many indexes. 

We get jobless claims before the market open and I am not expecting anything significant from the numbers but if by chance there is a negative surprise it will be interesting to see how the market reacts. Sometimes bad news is good news and good news is bad.

Gold and gold miners could be under more pressure after getting some uninspiring earnings from ABX and NEM last night. 

I am not just concerned about the indexes technically there are also several key individual stocks that are approaching potentially significant areas of price resistance FB AMZN NFLX GOOG are just a few that stand out. The infamous "FANG" stocks could run into some near term resistance.

WMT reported earnings this morning which looked like a beat but the stock is fairly weak prior to the open which is a shame since it had a really sweet looking setup on the daily.
