Good morning folks, 
We had a couple of days where the market gapped at the open but we were unable to hold the gap yesterday as the markets lost some ground during the big AAPL event. The technical damage in the indexes is not resolved there is still work to be done. In this market climate the rips are being sold and the short plays seem to work best. 

This morning it looks like we may have a small gap down. We could get some decent bounce plays to the long side but don't be greedy and overstay your welcome. 

I still like the action we are seeing in the SMH and some of the individual names in the index but it looks like it needs a bit more time. It would be healthy to consolidate here in the 50 range before it takes another leg up however there is  a chance we could go retest the lows.
