We could be looking at a bounce day for the indexes today but the near term trend remains under pressure. The Fed has some comments coming out tomorrow afternoon that could influence that markets.
Gold and gold miners took it on the chin yesterday as deflation concerns continue to take center stage. We could see a decent bounce in the sector as Gold is up premarket. JNUG NUGT GDX GDXJ but do not chase them.
China manufacturing numbers came in weaker than expected and all the chatter about a government shutdown (Thank you Congress >>>NOT) can't be good for the markets. I would anticipate more pain ahead as we find more things to worry about.

There were some links to click on for your survival guide but I deleted those. Fear mongers will be trying to take advantage of the near term weakness and volatility. Let's not overreact! There will likely be more weakness and lots of volatility but its not the end of the world.
We will still have some tremendous, viscous, short face ripping bounces so be prepared and have a plan.
