Which will it be? |
Hope you are having a fantastic weekend. It appears to me that this could be a very telling week in terms of market sentiment and the near term direction of the markets. There are conflicting signals out there and I think we are in for an exciting week ahead. I remain on the sidelines for the most part only taking scalp trades here and there and I have started dipping my toe in a few swings but on a very small scale. There is no reason to try and be early the market lets see how things play out this week and we should have a better indication of where we are headed. Be careful and protect your ASSETS!

One area that has some pretty interesting chart setups is the Marijuana sector or POT stocks. This is a very controversial industry and filled with extreme risk
There are a boatload of charts in that realm that have some pretty compelling setups. HOWEVER You need to recognize the risks associated with these names. If you are going to play in the space make sure there is sufficient liquidity and I would not be playing with anything other than gambling money. Most of the names out there are already extremely overvalued and I do not know of one that actually makes a profit. I know its a hot sector and the lure of easy money is very tempting. There are a ton of scams out there and you don't want to get caught up in one. I am looking at the sector since Nevada just passed a vote on Friday to allow 40 dispensaries here in Clark County but I have yet to find one I would feel comfortable owning overnight. The only stock I have so far is VPCO which is a vaping company that I think could benefit from the current trend. Make sure you do your Due diligence before you go rushing in and I would limit my exposure to day trades until there is more clarity in the industry, the federal stance and some reliable financials.
Best of Success!
